Q: I suffer from blackheads on my nose and chin, I've tried pore strips, blackhead remover cleansers etc but never get good results. Do Crystal Clear have products for home use which could help? Amber, Warrington

A. There are a couple of products in the Crystal Clear range which could really help with your skin problem.

Firstly, the Crystal Clear Oxygen Face Polish which can be used after cleansing - daily on oily skin or 2-3 times a week for a more dry or sensitive skin. It contains Jojoba beads to gently exfoliate and Oxastil® to oxygenate the skin and increase cell turnover, leaving a fresh clean complexion.

Secondly, Crystal Clear Defence Mask which can be used twice a week. This mask has been clinically proven to reduce the germs associated with acne within one hour of application. When used as part of a skin care routine, it can remove the build up of dead skin cells and improve congested skins.

Q: I am considering having a full leg wax, but I'm worried about it being too painful. Is there any advice you can give me or reassure me it won't be too painful!

A: Waxing is a popular beauty treatment - it's a great way to remove unwanted body hair. The results are long lasting and are well worth the small amount of discomfort you'll feel during the treatment. Q: I am really ashamed of my dry hands and brittle nails. What can I do to look after them and make them look more presentable?

A: Hand and nail care is essential - your nails speak volumes. A combination of in salon treatments and home care are required to keep your fingers in tip top condition. A regular prescriptive manicure using our Creative 411 products will set you on the right track. Try Solar Oil and Toughen Up.

Q: How long does a St Tropez Spray tan last and is there anything I need to do before having one?

A: Our St Tropez 'Ultimate Air' tan generally lasts 7-10 days depending on how well it is looked after. It is important to moisturise regularily with St Tropez Body Moisturiser and use St Tropez Body Polisher after 3 days. Using the correct products ensures the tan doesn't break up and go patchy.

Q: Can I still apply St Tropez at home as well as having a spray tan?

A: Using one of the St Tropez home tanning products is a great way to keep your tan topped up between salon visits. We recommend St Tropez Whipped Bronze Mousse for it's easy application. Just ensure you moisturise and exfoliate as with the spray tan.
